Just so that we are clear, when I say COVID was not real, I mean as below, its complicated by fact that some 'high-risk' people died & due to something that caused respiratory type symptoms & killed
them, so lets call it 'virus' for debate; but my thesis is that small number in number who died was from this so called 'virus'; there was no virus PANDEMIC; virus killed small number in overall death

Povidone iodine as a mouthwash and nasal cleanse, or hydrogen peroxide, or sodium hypochlorite, very diluted, swish and spit, nasal spray, no swallow, swish and spit, VERY dilute, can MAJORLY cut risk
Had we been using these simple measures day 1 we would have cut risk & deaths from COVID; very dilute 2-3 x a day; Povidone, hydrogen peroxide etc. works for colds, influenza, all respiratory pathogen
What am I saying? People like myself, McCullough etc.? We are talking about very dilute use with water, swish and spit several times per day…sold in the pharmacy OTC…no swallow and also, dip a Q tip in the solution and clean out tip of nostrils (if you can use a nasal spray and then spit it out) as the virus lands there FIRST and hangs around a few days…this and other virus…these kill the virus…always known and it is very effective and will cut the risk of severe outcome dramatically. Should have been part of normal public health messaging but alike how Fauci and Walensky and Murty failed to tell you about vitamin D supplements and body weight control (obesity as a key risk factor in COVID severity)…so I am sharing…get these over the counter and use it…very dilute and no swallow…and use SCOPE or Listerine to get the after taste out for can be bitter…

The Coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19), also referred to as the novel ‘CoV19 (nCov19)’ is caused by a new coronavirus strain similar to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-CoV-2 spreads via respiratory droplets, saliva, or direct contact. Therefore it is important to control the viral load in the saliva and respiratory secretions. One of the most simple and cost-effective measures that can be adopted by the public and healthcare professionals to prevent cross-contamination and community transmission, is the implementation of effective oral and throat hygiene. Recent evidence has confirmed that 0.5% povidone iodine (PVP-I) mouthrinse/gargle for 30 s can reduce SARS-CoV-2 virus infectivity to below detectable levels. PVP-I can even interrupt SARS-CoV-2 attachment to oral and nasopharyngeal tissues and lower the viral particles in the saliva and respiratory droplets. Thus, the use of PVP-I mouthrinse as a prophylactic measure has been advocated across the globe to reduce disease transmission. Although the efficacy of PVP-I against SARS-CoV-2 is proven, no review articles have yet discussed the evidence and mechanisms of PVP-I against the SARS-CoV-2. Thus, this paper highlights the rationale, safety, recommendations, and dosage of PVP-I gargle/mouthrinse as an effective method to decrease the viral loads during the pressing times of COVID-19.

An inhalable platform for messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics would enable minimally invasive and lung-targeted delivery for a host of pulmonary diseases. Development of lung-targeted mRNA therapeutics has been limited by poor transfection efficiency and risk of vehicle-induced pathology. Here, we report an inhalable polymer-based vehicle for delivery of therapeutic mRNAs to the lung. We optimized biodegradable poly(amine-co-ester) (PACE) polyplexes for mRNA delivery using end-group modifications and polyethylene glycol. These polyplexes achieved high transfection of mRNA throughout the lung, particularly in epithelial and antigen-presenting cells. We applied this technology to develop a mucosal vaccine for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and found that intranasal vaccination with spike protein–encoding mRNA polyplexes induced potent cellular and humoral adaptive immunity and protected susceptible mice from lethal viral challenge. Together, these results demonstrate the translational potential of PACE polyplexes for therapeutic delivery of mRNA to the lungs.’
Cases of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease on the Rise
An expert notes several reasons why this could be happening.
In a medical mystery that has left researchers puzzled, an unexpected surge in cases of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), a rare and fatal degenerative condition, has emerged as a cause for concern.
The alarming trend is taking a disproportionate toll on seniors, particularly older women.
What Is CJD?
CJD is a rare brain disorder marked by distinct alterations and rapid deterioration of brain tissue that affect muscle coordination, cognition, and memory. It is caused by a transmissible pathogen known as a proteinaceous infectious particle, or prion. This pathogen induces abnormal folding of prions abundant in the brain, resulting in swift and severe brain damage, ultimately leading to death. Between 70 percent and 95 percent of individuals diagnosed with the condition die within a year.
Prions resist conventional methods used to treat other pathogens. They withstand extreme heat and radiation that are typically effective against bacteria and viruses and remain impervious to antibiotics and antivirals.
CJD is the predominant form of human prion disease, with approximately 85 percent of cases categorized as sporadic (spontaneous type) and 15 percent stemming from inherited mutations of the prion protein gene.
Unprecedented Increase in CJD Cases
Researchers analyzed death certificate data from 2007 to 2020, revealing an elevated incidence of CJD. Out of 5,882 CJD deaths during this period, slightly over 50 percent occurred among women, according to the research letter published in JAMA Neurology.
There was an increase in incidence from 1.06 to 1.58 per million cases in women and from 1.05 to 1.47 per million in men. Adjusting for age, the rise was significant for women but not men.

“Our findings indicate the reported incidence of CJD has risen considerably, disproportionately affecting older and female individuals,” the authors wrote.

The research appears to be well-conducted, but the brevity of the research letter format is an issue, Dr. Jessica Robinson-Papp, professor and vice chair for clinical research at the Department of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, told The Epoch Times. It is “very short, which gives the authors less opportunity to thoroughly explain the work,” she noted.
Factors such as an aging population and improved detection methods might contribute to the observed rise, Dr. Robinson-Papp added. Notably, similar 2020 findings from Japanese data revealed increased CJD incidence, especially in those over 50.
Behind the Rise in Cases
There are three explanations for the study findings, Dr. Marc L. Gordon, chief of neurology at Northwell Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York, told The Epoch Times. They are as follows:
People are living longer, and people’s longer lifespans alone contribute to an increased likelihood of developing CJD.
We’ve developed much better ways to identify the disease.
We’ve gotten better at recognizing the MRI findings suggestive of CJD.
“There are [also] techniques we have to definitively make the diagnosis in ways that might not have been ... able to do, let’s say, 20 or 30 years ago,” he added.
Dr. Gordon highlighted modern techniques, like the cerebrospinal fluid real-time quaking-induced conversion (CSF RT-QuIC) test, enabling precise diagnosis by detecting signs of abnormal prions in patients’ spinal fluid. “That was a test that only became available relatively recently,” he noted.
There is a possibility that “something else going on that we don’t recognize” that is contributing to the surge, Dr. Gordon said. However, it is likely not a new infectious agent, he added.
Case Reports Link COVID-19, Pfizer Shot With CJD
Adding to the mystery of multiplying cases, a paper published in September 2023 in the American Journal of Case Reports suggests a potential correlation between COVID-19 infection and the onset of a neurodegenerative condition.
In one case study, a 62-year-old man at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital Center in New York exhibited difficulty walking and signs of rapidly progressing dementia. The case report noted that he “experienced worsening neurological function after having been COVID-19-positive on admission.” The man was ultimately diagnosed with prion disease.
While the study authors asserted a likely connection to COVID-19, they stressed the need for more research, citing the absence of evidence beyond coincidental findings.
Another case study involved a 64-year-old woman who developed sporadic CJD after receiving a second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. Following vaccination, she presented with rapid memory loss, behavior changes, headaches, and gait disturbance. Extensive investigation confirmed the fatal diagnosis of sporadic CJD, according to the case study.
The authors highlighted the mRNA in the Pfizer vaccine, suggesting its potential to bind to specific proteins and induce “pathologic misfolding” typical in prion disease. They noted the mRNA’s translation of the spike protein, which can increase intracellular zinc that is known to trigger the conversion of TAR DNA-binding protein into its pathological prion form.

Cannabis use has increased significantly in recent years, and it has some experts concerned.

The use of cannabis can lead to changes in DNA that can cause genetic mutations and subsequent serious diseases, according to a new study.
Cannabis—also known as marijuana—is one of the most commonly used drugs in the United States. Its use has increased significantly in recent years, with a recent survey showing 42.3 million people used it in the past month.
The increased use of marijuana has some experts concerned.
The Health Risks of Cannabis Use
The study, published in Molecular Psychiatry, analyzed data from about 9,500 participants from different groups, including parents and children, twins, and older adults.
Researchers assessed DNA methylation, an indicator of potential health outcomes due to how genes are expressed. The genome study analyses were evaluated according to the different genetic groups and adjusted according to age, gender, cigarette smoking, and blood type.
Researchers found that five genes with DNA methylation had sites associated with the use of cannabis, with significant roles in human health conditions. This included one gene (LINC01132) linked to liver cancer and ovarian cancer. A previous study, however, showed a lower incidence of liver cancer among cannabis users.
Researchers also found that chemicals in cannabis, including the active ingredient THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), alter the user’s DNA, which can cause gene mutations that can increase the risks of diseases.

How Does Cannabis Use Affect Future Generations?
The authors of a previous study, Gary Hulse and Albert Stuart Reece from the School of Psychiatry and Clinical Sciences at the University of Western Australia, point to the connection between the use of cannabis and the health risks associated with it and what this may mean for future generations.
The scientists are concerned that even when the user does not develop an illness from gene mutations associated with cannabis use, they can pass the mutation on to their children and grandchildren.
“Even if a mother has never used cannabis in her life, the mutations passed on by a father’s sperm can cause serious and fatal illnesses in their children,” Mr. Reece said in a University of Western Australia media statement on May 24, 2016.
“The parents may not realise that they are carrying these mutations, which can lie dormant and may only affect generations down the track, which is the most alarming aspect.”
Chemicals in cannabis can alter a user’s DNA, and this can slow down the growth of the cells. For a growing fetus, this could lead to underdeveloped limbs or organs or even cancer, the researchers theorize.
“The worst cancers are reported in the first few years of life in children exposed in utero to cannabis effects,” explained Mr. Reece in the press statement.
Cannabis Users Must Weigh Risks vs. Benefits
Cannabis is a plant that’s been used for various purposes for centuries. It contains hundreds of chemical compounds, the two most well-known being THC and cannabidiol (CBD).
These compounds are known as cannabinoids and interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, affecting various functions like mood, appetite, pain sensation, and memory.
Cannabis is often consumed for recreational or medicinal purposes. It can be smoked, vaporized, brewed as tea, or ingested in edible forms like cookies or candies.
